Secure MaxMarkUp is used in applications where information collaboration and exchange is desired and for enhanced takeoff capabilities. The user creates and adds document layers of new information without changing the original documents. Features include:
- The ability to create, edit, move and delete annotations and mark-ups allowing users more flexibility in the use of plans downloaded from AEPlans.
- Annotation tools such as line, polyline, arc, circle, ellipse, polygon, rectangle, and the count symbol are available. Markup tools include sketch and highlighter pens, arrow tool, notes that are date/time stamped and designed for replies when exchanging documents. Attachment of any Windows document is as easy as email and more secure. Image overlays are used to add JPEG images to the layer.
- Set up and save the attributes for each tool.
- All annotations and markups are tagged for easy recognition and summarization in the Markup Summary Report. Takeoff information is displayed in the Information Window ready for quick copy to an estimating tool.
- You can add any number of layers, each with a designation for a specific purpose or assignment, and save the attributes as a template ready for use on the next project.
- Use the compare document feature to check changes or the split the screen into one or more windows to compare an amended document to the last revision.
Documents exchanged through the AEPlans Collab Service are automatically enabled with the Secure MaxMarkUp tools.
