MaxReader™
MaxReader is used to open and navigate the downloaded AEPlans project files. The application will launch automatically when you select and open a project stored in the AEPlans Download Manager.
The full resolution plan pages and specification documents can be viewed and printed locally. The basic takeoff tools in MaxReader allow you to set the scale on a drawing and perform screen-based counts and measurements that are displayed in the information window for easy export to a spreadsheet.
Extended versions of the MaxReader are available on a fee basis. These include: Secure MaxReader which includes document security checking software, a product tutorial and a telephone support package; Secure Takeoff which includes extended takeoff and printing capabilities; and Secure MaxMarkup for extended takeoff and document annotation and collaboration.
The standard MaxView download includes an evaluation version of the entire MaxView product family. You may select to evaluate the product at any level (the default is MaxTakeoff). Upon completion of the evaluation period the product automatically reverts to the free MaxReader level.
