AEPlans™ offers users construction specific viewing technology provided by MaxView Corporation. MaxView’s popular MaxReader software allows basic viewing, printing and performing on-screen counts and measurements. This reader is available free of charge to all users. AEPlans projects also contain smart document coding in the MaxView file to enable your workstation copy of free MaxReader to operate at the Secure MaxTakeOff level, providing even more advanced, timesaving tools.
Other features include: intuitive icons in the dock-able tool bars and the context sensitive shortcut menu offers pan, zoom and measurement termination. Area, segment and counting tools allow you to calibrate or set the scale for accurate on-line takeoffs.
Through the Document Explorer page list users can easily navigate to sets of images which may reside on your hard drive, company server, CD-ROM, or on the Internet. Large-scale engineering drawings, construction prints, maps, or technical papers can all be viewed within the new Folders and Sub-folders display. Navigation now includes the ability to launch the native viewers for External Documents in virtually any Windows format such as Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, or DWG files.
MaxView’s built in Internet capabilities provide interactive viewing of online project pages. Users can save considerable time by selectively requesting and downloading only those images related to their construction trade.
Print functions in MaxReader include the display of the print area and banner, the ability to preview various views of your printable image and the capacity to set the print scale globally.
