Install the FREE MaxReader to improve your experience with this website and to aid you in viewing project information off-line using the AEPlans Download Manager. Both applications are included with the MaxView installation.
When accessing project information on AEPlans, the user is able to preview plan documents to determine which plan documents are to be selected for download to their system. For specifications, AEPlans presents a list of sections that are available to be selected for download (no previews of specifications are provided). Plans are stored using an industry-standard raster format while specification documents may be stored in the same raster format or a variety of other formats. AEPlans organizes all the selected documents to be downloaded using the MaxView file structure which make documents access easy.
The AEPlans Internet Download Manager (IDM) works directly with AEPlans to help you manage the process of downloading your selected documents and automatically organize your project.
MaxReader, handles accessing the overall AEPlans file structure and viewing of any documents that use the standard TIFF raster format. When MaxReader encounters specification documents that are stored in another format, it calls up the free document viewer, or full application, associated with that format. If you do not have Microsoft Office installed, you should have Word, Excel or Adobe Acrobat free viewers installed.
